Hajimemashite.
My name is Christina Hirtzel; it is my honor to instruct your student in the language and culture of Japan. I am as of yet myself a student teacher, learning the finer skills of education theory and practice through the Masters of Education program at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers' College of Arizona State University. In this phase of my training, I have the good fortune to mentor in the classroom of Shigeko Toyota-sensei at Central High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Please accept my gratitude to you, your family, and your student for this most enlightening opportunity. I assure you that I will offer only my absolute best in the classroom, both as an educator and as a friend. Yoroshiku onegashimasu.
Please call upon me for any questions or concerns that you may have. I can be contacted at any time through the "Ask Sensei" form on the main page of this site or via email at [email protected]. Additionally, your student has been provided with my phone number (not given here for reasons of online security). I will be glad to discuss any and all matters with you at any hour of the day or night.
Thank you again.
